The half-entry mould is for the production of tiles with spacer. It can be installed on all the types of press and can be adapted to all existing lifting systems. This type of mould is suitable for traditional productions of dry milled, single firing and porcelain stoneware. It is particularly suitable for the production of very large formats and very high thicknesses and very large steps. The mobile die box with pushers will guarantee a perfect deaeration and a long lasting life of the mould. The control is of the hydraulic type, connected to the press. The advantage of this mould is the possibility of ensuring a broad deaeration, while entering with the punch mark up to a preset position inside the mould cavity. The limitation of this mould is tied to the fact that the good side of the tile is turned upside down and during the extraction phase, the same good side will slide over the die box and therefore damaging its integrity. Obviously, for the very same reason it will not be possible to produce very deep structures.
